The Ojibwe actively participate in economic activities. "The Ojibwe traded widely across the continent for thousands of years and knew of the canoe routes west and a land route to the west coast.The Ojibwe did trade farmed goods, however they didn't trade much. The Ojibwe didn't desperately need to trade since they had access to enough food and there's little knowledge of what they traded, making their economy inactive.
